The best! I’ve went to Dr. Makhani for years, he’s become very very busy, but always takes a moment if I have a question or concern to talk with me. He is the most caring & thorough physician. I would not trust any doctor more to treat my gastrointestinal issues. He is very cautious & never jumps to take the next step without fully explaining the why’s & why nots.

Dr. Makhani is very attentive and caring and knowledgeable. His office however is none of that. After my initial visit the medication I was advised to take in July still has not been appropriately made available to my pharmacy. When I asked to speak to Dr. Makhani about this I could not get a phone call from him. The woman who answers his calls speaks so fast it is challenging to figure out how to proceed. When I nicely persisted with questions it was put off with standard answers. These things need to be addressed.

The quality of care I received while in the GI Department at Cedars Sinai waiting for my procedure was awesome. The doctor and his GI team were absolutely AMAZING! The after care team were kind and gentle as I awakened from the procedures. I felt safe and secure that I was in good hands, from beginning to end…
