Dr Makhani is a most thorough and compassionate doctor who truly cares about his patients, not just during an office visit but throughout the year. He routinely calls to follow up on progress and takes the time to listen to patients concerns. He also makes the best referrals for other medical issues outside of his specialty.

Dr Makhani is a blend of the old time house call Dr who made you feel like he knew you and cared about you and today's top high tech Dr who has and offers all the newest treatments and diagnostic tools available. (I found him because he is one of the few gastroenterologists who offer a procedure that I was looking for) He also is supportive when I mention holistic treatments that might help my esophagitis. He is friendly and caring and knows what he's doing. I really like this Dr.

Dr. Makhani is an old school physician in the best possible way. He knows all the latest research and procedures, but can explain these complexities so well. I actually ask him to explain what other physicians are recommending! Whats more, if there is an urgent need he is right there for you. A rare find in this day and age.

The best! I’ve went to Dr. Makhani for years, he’s become very very busy, but always takes a moment if I have a question or concern to talk with me. He is the most caring & thorough physician. I would not trust any doctor more to treat my gastrointestinal issues. He is very cautious & never jumps to take the next step without fully explaining the why’s & why nots.
